NationsBank delivers online banking services exclusively through Managing Your Money (MYM) personal finance software from MECA. Nations and Wells Fargo are in a dead-heat for second place in number of retail subscribers. Only Citicorp, estimated at 400,000, has more online customers. Pricing, or rather lack of a price, is one of the key reasons for the large number of subscribers. Basic account balance inquiries and transaction history downloads are free of charge. Optional bill payment costs at most $5.95/mo for up to 20 transactions. But the fee is waived for numerous customers depending on their other relationships with the bank.
