The Block Financial and Jack Henry alliance has produced its first live Internet bank. RCB Bank (Claremore, OK; $341 million) is offering the Conductor suite of services via its Web. Users select Conductor SafeNet from the menu or follow the links after pressing the Online Banking button front-and-center on its Web. RCB Bank is bundling local Internet access with its banking services for an all-in-one price of $14.95/mo when above the $600 minimum balance, $22.95 otherwise. This is the first time we have seen bundled Internet access for a single fee; and we like it, especially for new users.
Features of RCB SafeNet Banking
- online account access
- online imaged checks and deposits
- funds transfer
- flat-rate Internet access through ioNET.
- free Microsoft Explorer
- e-mail address
- no-fee Check Card
- monthly image statements
- 20 free withdrawals by check/draft, then $0.20 per item
- 10 free ATM withdrawals, then $0.50 per item
