Here are a few ideas for adding value to your online banking and investment services offerings.
Web-based services:
- portfolio tracking services with option to track price, volume, news items, historical comparisons
- price/volume charting
- triggered alerts (stock price, volume level, news item, etc.) greet user when logging in
E-mail/push services:
- triggered alerts (stock price, volume, news, etc.) are sent to user via e-mail, fax, or voice message
- transaction confirmations (e.g. payment received, trade executed, dividend received)
- open order reminders
- news items on stocks/industries tracked
- closing prices and portfolio values
- notification when mutual fund quarterly reports are posted to the Web (only funds held by user)
