Financial Institution Milestones -- Central Carolina Bank Launches Dial-Up Banking

Central Carolina Bank & Trust (Durham, NC; $5.5 billion; 230,000 ATM cards) launched a dial-up PC banking program priced at $6.95/mo including bill pay after a 60-day free trial. Customers outside the local calling area can access the service toll-free. Central Carolina appears to be heading to the Web, it has 16 domain names registered, but none are live at this time.
