Gary Davis, Assistant Vice President - Commercial Loans

As your new Assistant Vice President, I bring to Charter more than eleven years of finance and banking experience. After graduating from Wayne State University in 1983 with a bachelor degree in finance. I became a general ledger accountant at R.L. Polk and Company. One year later, I joined Fruehauf Finance Company as regional finance manager, moving to Michigan National Bank as a Senior Loan Review Analyst in 1987. In 1988, I became Corporate Special Loans Officer and was named Senior Loan Review Analyst in 1989, a position I held until I was promoted to the position of Commercial Account Officer in 1993. Before joining Charter in 1995, I served as Small Business Association Lender and Commercial Loan Officer at the Bloomfield Hills office of Republic Bank.

A longtime resident of Allen Park with my wife and two sons, I am delighted to be using my professional talents to help businesses Downriver. It is especially rewarding to see how a customer’s business thrives as a result of the financial assistance received from his or her bank, and how one person can truly make a difference!
