Trust Bank
Trust Bank offers personalized Web sites.
Trust Bank (South Africa) a division of the Amalgamated Banks of South Africa (Johannesburg; US$33 billion) has the best Web personalization implementations we’ve seen. Users go to personal settings on its Web and select areas of interest. The Trust Bank Web then displays a personalized menu which can be used for the current session and saved for future visits. Using cookies, the site automatically delivers a personal greeting when signing on. Below the greeting is the users personal menu and a “new since you last visited section.” Many of the choices also include an “e-mail update” option so the user can receive an e-mail whenever information on that subject changes.
