Splash Screens Help Cut through the Clutter

Everbank.com employs a splash screen to
highlight key benefits of its new bank.


 

Everbank.com, the just-launched cyberdivision of Wilmington Savings Fund Society FSB (WSFS), (Wilmington, DE; $1.7 billion) demonstrates how to highlight key benefits and demonstrate to prospects that it offers a complete line of banking products and services. The bank positions an introductory screen, also called a “splash screen,” in front of the regular home page. The splash screen uses just 35 words to highlight four key benefits and links to four important areas of the Web:
