The Financial Services Technology Consortium says it joined the Accredited Standards Committee X9, which develops and promotes technical standards for the financial services industry. (Contact: Financial Services Technology Consortium, 781-235-3424)

GeoTrust Inc. says it has joined the Anti-Phishing Working Group's steering committee. GeoTrust, which has belonged to the Group since its beginning, is a large digital certificate authority. (Contact: GeoTrust, Inc., 781-292-4153)

Global Cash Access says that Scottsdale, Arizona’s Casino Arizona is one of 26 casinos that have also recently signed with GCA for ATM services. (Contact: Global Cash Access, 702-262-5003)

Identrus Inc. changed its corporate name to IdenTrust. IdenTrust manufactures authentication systems. (Contact: IdenTrust, Inc., 866- 433-6878)

Innobeta Systems Inc. says Ventus Networks will be using Innobeta’s wireless technology for ATM processing, as well as its monitoring, and maintenance-management services. (Contact: Innobeta Systems Inc., 610-918-1161)

NCR Corp. says Great Britain’s PayPoint PLC is buying 400 EasyPoint ATMs. This is the first major ATM deal for NCR’s NCR EasyPoint LLC unit, formed when NCR bought the ATM assets of Tidel Technologies Inc. for $10.2 million in Feb. 2005. That deal closed in the fourth quarter. Separately, NCR Corp. says Raleigh, N.C.-based First Citizens Bank, with $14.6 billion in assets, signed a five-year deal to use NCR’s ATM upgrades, replacements and services. Open Solutions Inc. says Lansing, Mich.-based State Employees Credit Union, with $774 million in assets, is now using Open Solutions’ core processing platform. (Contact: Open Solutions Inc., 860-652-3153)

P&H Solutions says Saint Paul, Minn.-based Bremer Financial Corp., a $6.5 billion community bank, is outsourcing its operations to P&H, and migrating its cash management operations to P&H’s Web Cash Manager version 7.2. Spirit Airlines says it is launching the Free Spirit MasterCard, issued by Juniper Bank. Juniper is owned by the Barclays Group PLC. The card includes a frequent flyer program called Free Spirit. (Contact: Spirit Airlines, 954-628-4827)

VeriFone Holdings Inc. announced today that it is delivering 50,000 point-of-sale terminals to ICICI Bank Ltd, India’s largest private sector bank. (Contact: VeriFone, 508-283-4112)
