Amplify Credit Union Proves a Good Mobile Banking Demo is Worth a Thousand Words

By Eric Mattson on June 8, 2007 11:31 AM

Once banks have jumped the technological mobile-banking shark, the next challenge is educating customers about how mobile banking works and the advantages of using it. As we've mentioned before, answering the basic questions up front is incredibly important at this stage in adoption.

amplify_logo_fade.jpgOne great way to go beyond simple text for explanation is to create a demo of your mobile banking experience on your website. Amplify Federal Credit Union and mShift (its mobile banking technology provider) have done just that, and it is truly worth a thousand words.

mshift_logo.gifYou should definitely check out the mobile banking demo (to sign onto the demo, use amplify as the account number and pda as the PIN). It shows what the mobile banking experience would be like on a Treo. We recommend that you consider a similar approach. A video tour might also be a great option.
