After a jam-packed day in NYC yesterday, the audience voted five companies Finovate2009 Best of Show.
All Finovate attendees, except for the presenting companies themselves, rated each demo on a scale of one to six. At the end of the final demo session, the ballots were tallied and the presenters ranked based on their average score. A majority of attendees completed a ballot, so it's a good indicator of the group consensus.
It was a tight race, but here's how the choices played out (in alphabetic order).
BancVue's Kasasa national checking/savings account brand
for community banks and credit unions
Credit.com's report card with letter grades to help users
make sense of the underlying data
Digital Insight (Intuit) integration of tax preparation
with online banking
Silver Tail Systems real-time security monitoring
to shut down fraud attempts immediately
Yodlee's new FinApp store modeled after Apple's
iPhone App Store
Congratulations! And thanks to everyone who participated.
Note: Videos of each demo will be posted to the Finovate website within a few weeks.

I'm not sure of the benefit of BancVue rebranding their reward checking accounts as Kasasa Cash. I think it creates confusion. I know they've added other types of reward accounts to their original reward checking so perhaps that's why they wanted a new name for the whole suite of products.
Hi Guys
Well done - I hear it was a great event. Any ideas on 2010 dates?
