First Tennessee is sponsoring
the word “bank” on Yahoo.

First Tennessee Bank (Memphis, TN; $14.1 billion; 1.2 million ATM cards) has sponsoring the word “bank” on Yahoo! since mid-January. Unfortunately, its Web-based online banking product is still unavailable. When released, it’s expected to be the first completely Java-based Web banking program. The bank does offer two other choices: proprietary dial-up and Microsoft Money dial-up.
