G & L Bank is giving away a 1998 VW Beetle to entice surfers to leave their names and addresses.

G & L Bank (Pensacola, FL) finally received its banking charter and has announced an official opening date, Oct. 11, 1999, which is national Coming Out Day. An excellent launch day for a bank targeting the gay and lesbian market. The bank has posted their main navigation structure, but the links are not live, except for a customer survey and contest designed to drum up prospects. The bank will give away a 1998 Beetle as part of its pre-launch marketing (screenshot above).
