RFCU’s “withdrawal by check” feature.

Rockwell Federal Credit Union (Los Angeles, CA; $447 million; 61,000 members) has a feature handy for those dealing with the CU remotely, “check withdrawal request.” Members choose the account to debit and the amount, then a check made out to the primary member on the account is mailed the next business day. The credit union would be wise to add email confirmations to the process so the member is reassured their request was received and processed in a timely fashion.
